The Bird Channel

I refilled it this morning, and Karina has been really enjoying The Bird Channel. So have I.
We've got a pair of redwinged blackbirds hanging out here regularly, along with the doves, finches, redheaded finches, and chickadees.
I just saw one of the redwinged blackbirds doing a magnificent display - wings partway out, dancing around on the ground, going around and around his target in circles. Looked a heck of a lot like a mating/courting "Aren't I so LOVELY!" dance.
Except - he was quite clearly directing it at a little finch.
Possibly it was a territorial thing for the birdfeeder area. The finch appeared to be fluffing out and prancing a bit in return. Although I've that animals only get territorial with their own species.
If that's what it was, I think the finch won that round - the blackbird flew off.
