eccentric FOD [1]
Jun. 30th, 2005 11:21 amI should have put this up as a FOD a while ago, but I didn't. I just recently completed this: http://tiajudy.com/bonnet.htm
I *like* it. A friend's comment was that it was "too matronly". Well, I'm a matron. I've been wearing snoods recently to get the growing-out hair off my face in the heat of the summer, and to keep it from blowing in my eyes. This works very well, too. And I like it.
I think I need to give in more to my eccentric side, and keep dressing and accessorizing just as I feel like it.

Date: 2005-06-30 04:36 pm (UTC)I was picking Karl up from work on Tuesday, and yesterday I was discussing the big anti-FOD posters they have all over the outside of his workplace. Some of them are pretty over-the-top. He talked about what a big deal they make of it with the assembly line guys. It got a bit confusing until he clarified in that context they're talking about leftover bolts and such left in the engine, and it means "Foreign Object Debris" in that context!
