Maggie is fascinated by picture-taking. She insisted on seeing the little image at the back of the camera as soon as I'd taken a picture.




Then Maggie said "my turn!" and put on her pink birthday hat. She wanted a picture. She insisted on seeing it, too.

Oh, and she's teaching Jamie to sign "thank you".

Checks your journal - aha, that's why, autism in common. I may disappoint you, as I'm not blogging much about the autistic son just at the moment. He's currently living with the ex for a while, mostly due to safety issues with the other kids, and visiting here. He'll be back here next in August. Might be interesting to see what I've put into my memories under Brendan, although I don't remember what all is in there, I'm not terribly good at remembering to put things in memories.

Have you looked into the GFCF diet? It can make a big difference for some autistic kids, mine among them.

Playing around with diet is on my to-do list, once I'm able to establish what's 'normal' for him. And that is a few months away yet.
