one stitch off
Oct. 21st, 2005 11:26 pmOh gah! I'm having a quiet evening at home, and am trying to make progress on an important piece of stitchery. I had virtuously set myself to working on the most tedious section - lots of little bits, a couple stitches in a color and then cut it off and move on up. I was working through the first color, bit by bit, each grouping a certain number of rows up from the last. I had gotten a fair way through it - and then found out that I'd left off part of the first patch at the bottom - one more stitch up it needed.
Which meant - every patch up from there was in the wrong place, and ALL had to be taken back out.
GAH! More than an hour's work totally wasted.
