The debate about which weekend it should be is still up in the air. There was the possibility of taking all the birthdays - 5th, 8th, 15th, 27th, and 29th - and averaging them. (Yours, btw, is the same as my son Brendan's) Finding a weekend that works for everyone is more important, and if you're coming from out of town, your choice is likely to have the highest weighting.
