Although the chance of being able to do this to Karl AND Gerry if they get into politics/shop talk/JSF bitching too badly? *At* Gerry's house? Not so good.

If you'd gotten this earlier, I'd said that I think Bill, Gerry and Karl are on the same page politically.

We are. From his posts to the ORAC list I'd say James is in a different book. Which is probably what kept us all from saying anything political--we knew it would end badly.
