Holiday whirl, sorta

Hey, all. I'm visiting my family and am very busy. This is the first time I've had the chance to check my mail in 2 days. I may try to catch up on LJ in a few days. Or I may not. I refer you to selenite's post for much of what we've been up to.

On top of the usual holiday chaos, Jamie has been very sick. Sick, miserable, coughing, dazed, feverish, not eating. Whee. Poor boy. And Maggie's been coughing some, and all of this has been keeping me up nights. A couple hours if I'm lucky kind of up. Last night I slept miserably on the couch and it was still the best night's sleep I've had on the trip.

I'm glad to be with family, and I'm mostly enjoying myself despite all this. Had a nice long expotition for various errands with phoenixsinger and Maggie today.

Sadly, was not given Serenity for Xmas. Was given other amazingly cool stuff that I'll probably tell all about later. Tried to buy Serenity today. Walmart was out of the widescreen version, Barnes and Noble was totally out. I'll probably try somewhere else tomorrow.

Oh, and somebody make sure I eventually post about the finishing and giving of the Big Project.
