Vinyl Cafe!

celticdragonflyI love the Redondo Beach Public Library. They're wonderful people.
Tygerr and the Pixie introduced me to Vinyl Cafe stories by playing one for us last December when we visited. I wanted more. Can't buy 'em anywhere around here. I asked the local library if they could be gotten by Interlibrary Loan. Turned out they absolutely couldn't. However, their A/V guy decided he was willing to have the library buy a couple of their CDs.
So today I'm home with Vinyl Cafe - Odd Jobs and Vinyl Cafe - Stories. Wheeee. I'm enjoying this. Glad they came in before we moved.
(Vinyl Cafe is something sorta like the Canadian Lake Wobegon, but my understanding is that's an oversimplification. But it gets the idea across, I think)
