Frustrations

celticdragonflyOkay, I got the van reregistered (which Karl was supposed to do, grrrr). But AAA says they can't sign off on the ticket. The nice CHP officer we talked to last Thursday said if we go to the police office and ask one of them to come outside and confirm it, they will charge us a significant fee for doing so. So now I apparently have to somehow chase down a police officer on duty OUTSIDE of an office. Basically, I gotta pull a cop over.
Just shoot me now...
Then I tried dealing with the post office AGAIN, with trying to arrange to get a PO box in Fort Worth so I can actually have a forwarding address. I've been stuck as a ping-pong ball between calling the Fort Worth one and talking to the local one, today was Story #4, and they've ALL been different. Finally ended up talking to the local supervisor, who called the Fort Worth one, and got Story #5. After making me jump all these hoops to try to do it, they now claim I can't get a post office box long distance At All.
I'm just about ready to start wanting to HIT things. Except it hurts too much to move. The pregnancy sciatica is getting worse - Gymboree with Maggie was utter agony. I'm ending up using her stroller like a walker for me.
