celticdragonflyI got to play darts last night! Found a bar in downtown Fort Worth that was listed as having a "game room" with pool, chess, and darts. Well, I don't know about the first two, but they had a dart board at the end of the hallway upstairs. Good spot, it wasn't as smoky as the upstairs lounge, even if it did make for some silliness, hung on a door with an "Employees Only" sign. Nobody open that door! (Well, it had an intact sign at the beginning of the evening...)
I've missed darts. I used to play regularly in college. Never great at it, but I had a lot of fun. We own a dart board, but haven't had a good place to put it up since we left Lompoc back in '99.
Darts are fun. Nice pointy sharp thing, fling it into the board! Whee. And, as it was commented to me, in a competitive way!
I'd like to find a place to get our dartboard back up, somewhere, and get another set of darts to replace my old personal set.
