Now I have to live up to my end so that [livejournal.com profile] joyeuse13 doesn't hurt me. ;-)

LEAVE ME A COMMENT AND....
1. I'll respond with something random I like about you.
2. I'll tell you what song/movie reminds me of you.
3. I'll name something we should do together.
4. I'll say something that only makes sense to you and me (or just me).
5. I'll tell you my first/clearest memory of you.
6. I'll leave you a quote that is somehow appropriate to you.
7. I'll ask you something that I've always wondered about you.
8. If I do this for you, you must post this on your journal so you can do the same for other people.

1. I like your voice.

2. "Terence Chua Could Filk It" Especially since somebody actually sang that at the local housefilk last Saturday.

3. Filk and flirt until dawn at a con.

4. Stupid tannins.

5. Being introduced to you and Larissa at GAFilk 2005. You and The Hat.

6.
The Rum Tum Tugger is a curious cat
And there isn't any need for me to spout it
For he will do as he do do
And there's no doing anything about it!

7. So when are you and Larissa coming to FenCon?

I am going to take this as a Comment, not just a comment.

1. Your lovely long braidable pettable hair.

2. "Common Things" by Echo's Children.

3. How about we take a historical and linguistic educational tourist trip through Europe?

Okay, failing that, how about I take you on a tour of the Japanese Gardens here in Fort Worth? I think you might enjoy it.

4. "We are the Fairy Peas of Christmas!"

5. The Friday night room party at ConDFW Feb. 2004.

6.
She walks in beauty, like the night
Of cloudless climes and starry skies;
And all that 's best of dark and bright
Meet in her aspect and her eyes:

7. If Aaron's work took you guys to Europe, would you come back afterwards?

It would depend on where in Europe. I'm not sure I'd actually want to live in France, for example--everyone smokes. :P And in a lot of European cities, owning a house is out of the question--not enough real estate to make it econimcally feasible. I'm not sure I could give up my big space and my air conditioning and all...

1. You appreciate the projects I have with me at ORAC meetings, rather than just thinking I'm nuts as most probably do.

2. Well, it's not a song or movie per se, but any time somebody mentions "macgyvering" I think of you. Then I have to explain to them how actually, I don't really know what they're talking about. Happened just last night.

3. Go on a luxurious crafters' cruise, with our families along.

4. I bet we both roll our eyes for the inevitable "Oh, wow, I could never do that".

5. Hm. Not sure, exactly - ORAC meetings, it'd have to be.

6. "Millions of men have lived to fight, build palaces and boundaries, shape destinies and societies; but the compelling force of all times has been the force of originality and creation profoundly affecting the roots of human spirit."-Ansel Adams

7. Who / what is your favorite author / book?

Oh, bonus question, did you ever hear back about that sample dress they had in the fabric section that I hoped to snag for Maggie?

It's still there. Until the boss says to take it down and price it, it can't be sold.

1. You share! ;-) Okay, that's not random. Well, I wouldn't want you to share at random, anyway.

2. Dogma.

3. Go have a nice spring day wandering through the Rose Gardens at the FtW Botanical gardens, and take a picnic.

4. Cattleprods *AND* the Buzzaire inhaler! And the coworkers flee in fear.

5. Hm, I suppose teasing you online doesn't count, eh? Would have to be dinner at the Outback in late May '05, then.

6. "I'd rather have roses on my table than diamonds on my neck." ~ Emma Goldman

7. What would get you singing again?

Mmm... Curiosity....

2. "Low Among the Roses" by Echo's Children

3. Hey, how about we go to ApolloCon? :-P

4. Dead homeys!

5. Brandy introducing you at the Outback parking lot, me looking uuuuuuup, and saying "Awfully tall for a Miles, aren't you?" and then knowing from the quizzical look you gave me that I had a Mission to Introduce Bujold to you.

6. My home is not a place, it is people.
Lois McMaster Bujold, "Barrayar", 1991

7. What's your idea of a perfect romantic getaway or date?

Your turn! I shall await your post.
