Just so you know, those poem things are going to take some serious TIME.

I am SO SO frustrated - I want to start work on another poem, but Maggie interrupts me every few words.

And then the train of thought and the scansion goes POOF.

The man from Porlock has nothing on her.

There have been times when I have told the babblechild, "Dear, I need MY words in my head, and when you talk, it puts YOUR words in my head, and that makes me GRUMPY!"

My only consolation is that she apparently does not babble constantly in class, unlike a classmate of mine who reversed the condition.

My mom, who was teaching at the school at the time, had to smother cackles with the math teacher when his mom started teaching there as well and delivered a loud and frustrated, "____ ____, if you don't shut up..."
