I am a loved and lucky woman.

I've been having nasty headaches recently. I talked to [livejournal.com profile] bkseiver about them today, and she thought they might be related to low potassium. So [livejournal.com profile] selenite brought me home a lovely fruit smoothy today when he got here from work.

And I'm totally wiped out after the canning - so he's just heated up dinner for us.

I love this man!

Don't ignore these. See a doctor.

Eh. I've been thinking about it - but it's pretty hard and annoying to go to the doctor with two small kids. I could go Friday when [livejournal.com profile] selenite is off. But still - I'm afraid he'd blow me off, say it's just tension or sinuses or "take aspirin".

Then you'd know that you need to find another doctor.

Still, if it's tension or sinuses, those cause real pain which means it can be targeted and stopped. If it's migraines there are wonderful new medicines out just for that. I'd go to make pain stop, especially pain in my head, where I can't escape from it.

Ok, here's the deal. I get migraines. But they determined this after doing MRIs and CT scans. The truth is that really wicked headaches that don't go away can be something as serious an aneuryms or tumors. You DON'T WANT to ignore it.

A friend of mine's aunt died because she did blow it off. She had an aneurym. Seriously, I don't mean to scare you, but for peace of mind, you need to go.
