GAH!!!!

Jamie just broke his glasses again.

Bent up, both lenses out.

I'm going to have to drive him to Southlake again tomorrow morning, early.

I AM CRANKY ABOUT THIS.

I'm wishing to use all sorts of very bad words I wouldn't want him to learn.

GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR

May I make a recomendation?

If it is possible, exchange the wire frames for hard plastic. They are harder to bend and break. Take it from someone who destroyed a dozen pair of glasses himself as an elementary student.

I asked the optician about that. They said, no, metal bends, but plastic SNAPS.

They keep fixing them. The problem is driving that far. I had no idea we'd be going out there so often. They're nice people, but the next pair he gets MUST be from a closer optician's.

Any chance this optician is part of a chain or co-op, to-where you can get service at a different branch that is CLOSER to where you live?

alternative: do the math, and find out how many trips to THIS

...place it would take for the gasoline cost to equal the cost of a new pair of specs from someplace closer.
