quick updates

celticdragonflySo things are going reasonably well. I'm at term, less than 2 weeks to due date, and it can't be soon enough for me. I am so sick of heartburn and vomiting. Trying to take it easy as I'm pretty badly anemic.
Maggie remains cute and adorable. She's imitating others and trying to be a helper like her big brother. So cute. Brendan made A/B honor roll for the 2nd 6 weeks at school, in his mainstream classroom - I'm so proud. He also lost 2 more baby teeth yesterday. And today he actually WANTED to go outside and play in the backyard in bare feet, which for an autistic kid is pretty amazing. On the downside, he's trying to throw nightly temper tantrums swearing he's "starving" at bedtime - when he finished dinner and didn't want more earlier. We are generally being really strict about it - ask us for food BEFORE bedtime, kiddo. And we're making sure to offer him food in the evening. He's just trying to get out of bedtime.
More household stuff has been unpacked, if slowly, and more of the To Do list wiped out, thanks to Karl. There's still so much more. We're working on getting all the birth supplies together. And eagerly awaiting my parents' arrival next Monday.
Oh, and I get cable modem tomorrow, thanks to my darling husband Karl!
