Cute pics! What kind of a camera did you pick? What made you pick it? I ask because I have to get a new one myself....

It's an Olympus D-560 Zoom. Karl and my Dad picked it out together. I told them I wanted something that was good quality, but not tons of bells and whistles. I wanted something that hooked up to the PC with a USB port, that had (or had option to buy) a flash card for more memory, and that I could take a picture with reasonably quickly. I'm pleased. When I talked to my mother-in-law and told her we'd gotten the new camera, she asked what kind. When I said Olympus, she said "is it the D-560?". Um, yes, how did she know? She said she'd been looking into them, and that one seemed to be the most bang for the buck. So I guess Karl and Dad did pretty good.

I've got a list from a review in the NY Times, and one of these days when I have a little time I'm going to sign up for another month at ComsumerReports.org and see what they have to say. I may not commit until after Christmas, though, since I hear it's one of the HOT gifts of the season. Yours does sound like a good one, and I will put it on my list to consider!
