So I was poking around on iTunes, looking for something else, and came across a listing for the song in question done by Garrison Keillor.
Oooh. Garrison Keillor. Poke, poke. Listing of Garrison Keillor stuff, including LOTS of News from Lake Wobegon eps. Yay! Cool!
Ah, these are listed as "audiobooks". $3.95 each. Eek. Not cool.
Poke poke further. OOOH, what's this? Podcast. Podcast listing of News from Lake Wobegon. Fifteen of them, going back to March. FREE. Spot to click to "Get Episode"

Hey,
rlseiver, might be worth it to install iTunes even if you never use it for buying anything.
I am amused by my glee at this. Seeing them listed as audiobooks and podcasts has made me realize that Garrison Keillor is pretty much the exception to my dislike for audiobooks and podcasts. (Okay, and Vinyl Cafe, but I've never gotten to hear that on the radio)
It's not really that I dislike them, that's too strong a word. It's that they don't work for me. I know lots of people that are into them and excited by them. But when I tried audiobooks, I found I was distracted and not paying attention or following the story. I'm just a written word kind of person. When I see the listings for Knitpicks' podcasts, for instance, I just wish there was a transcript webpage I could *read*.
But for Garrison Keillor, I'm game.
