Giving in on the ow

Figured I should let everyone advising me earlier know - I am going to call the doctor's office about this ongoing pain in my left foot.

Actually, I called earlier today - and got a recorded message that my doctor's office was closed for Friday July 6th, and would be reopening on Monday. So unless this goes away by Monday, I'll call them again then.

Sounds good. In the meantime, can you take ibuprofen? Do you or available person know how to wrap a foot?

You definitely don't want to mess around, if it continues to hurt. My brother got a hairline fracture in a wrist bone that was undiagnosed and therefore not immobilized, and the bone's blood supply got pinched off. The bone died and decayed and he had to have it replaced.

And to second what zoethe said, I had a friend once ... broke a bone in their foot. Limped around on it for a while -- a rather long while, actually. By the time that the went to the doc, it had healed -- she had to have surgery to rebreak the bone so that it would heal properly .....
