Biscornu!

I just got SUCH a cool package in the mail from xinef, for the LJ meme about making things for people. It's a biscornu, a cool pincushion that is like origami in fabric. With DRAGONFLIES cross-stitched on it. They are so cute! And a package of dragonfly button thingies, which I seriously want to use for something, but as she pointed out there's no clear way to attach them to anything, so I will have to see what my backbrain can come up with.

Wheee!

Looking at this and what 17catherines sent me, I'm seriously concerned about what *I* am going to come up with for this meme. Eeek. After this week I won't have guests, and clearly it's time to buckle down and have at it.

Found some nice instructions for making them today. These look neat, and small enough to do in a couple days. Perhaps it will make a nice nesting project for me. :)
