Pre-dinner conversation in our household:

Me: "You realize fordprfct has just taught the 3 year old and the 5 year old to play zombies? "

fordprfct in the background: "Braaaaains! Om nom nom. Say braaaains!"

Jamie: "BRAAAAAINS!"

selenite: "cadhla would be so jealous."

A few minutes ago Maggie had declaimed emphatically that she was not to eat! Which cued us right into singing "If you weren't meant for me to eat (yum, yum!) / you wouldn't be made out of meat (dumb, dumb!)"

After we too often nibbled on Grace's fingers and toes she learned, at age three, to say emphatically, "GRACES ARE NOT NUTRITIOUS!"
