Maggie, who'd been being Very Cranky, got up in my lap and cuddled to a nap. I went upstairs to lay her down on the big bed in her room. Her eyes opened briefly as I set her down, then closed again - and then her little fingers waved bye-bye for a moment as she drifted back off.
