celticdragonflyToday was Jamie's and my 6 week postpartum checkup at the birth center. Jamie is just a tad over 14 lbs, and a smidge under 24" long. My hemoglobin is up to 12.6, which is a good improvement. Everything is fine for us.
Not so for the rest of the family - Karl's home sick with a nasty tummy bug, and Brendan came home early from school for coughing - his asthma seems to be acting up this week. The school nurse said many of her asthmatic kids are having trouble right now, she thinks it's all the changes in the weather.
Not exactly what I had planned for my birthday.
