mystery package

Mom called back, so I could finally open the Mystery Package. It contained an AMAZING knitted hat. (so THERE, qow!) Three-pronged jester hat with bells on the ends, in black and white stripes, with a red brim/turned up crown shape. Should fit Maggie now, Jamie later. I expect she'll adore it. I expect Brendan will be jealous. Also two books for him - books that were the favorites of my mom and my uncle when they were small, that I remember reading with pleasure.
