Maggie has entered an annoying stage of childhood in which she sticks things up her nose. And then it hurts and she gets upset, and we get to find out about it and try to help get it out.

Y'know, they just don't warn you about weird stuff like this. So let me perform a public service to anyone considering parenthood. You will get weird stuff like this. Maybe not this one, but something equivalent.

Then there is the stage when the stick their fingers up their noses and twirl them around a bit, usually followed by removing their fingers and grabbing for your hand. IME, this can last until about age 8.

Or trying to stick their fingers up your nose. Mine tries to do that to me. Ick.
