Maggie is now learning the lesson that if Mama offers the option to go outside, trying to stand in the doorway and refuse to decide to go in or out will NOT work.

She's overdue for a nap anyway.

I would dearly like to get a screen door on the backdoor, so I could hear the kids while they're out there, without the cats getting out.

Maggie had a good speech therapy session today. Maricarol played with toy dishes and food and Maggie really liked that, she loves playing with those at the UU nursery. Really must get her some of her own. I have a set on her wishlist. She's also getting into telling dollies night-night and laying them down, or putting them into the baby swing. Sweet.

Now if we could just get HER to go night-night at a reasonable hour.

So get a screen door. Well worth the investment, which is actually quite minimal.

It will depend on how expensive it is and if the household budget can handle it. After all, we moved out here to get out of debt. Actually, if Jared pays Karl what he owes for the trailer, I might ask Karl if we can just put that towards a screen door, rather than dropping it on the debts. That could be good.

The minxness has been taking her nap earlier -- and waking at 4 -- because of getting up early, and having to get up to watch Cyberchase.

Mind, if you don't have to wake up at an ungodly hour... Well, we didn't.

But it does get her to sleep, fairly easily if we can catch it before she gets her second manic wind.
