oh bother

It's looking like I do NOT have enough of the rainbow yarn left over for a pair of socks for Maggie. It looks like I'll have slightly more than enough for one. But I'm plugging away. I left a message at Simpatico Yarns asking if they had another skein of the regia rainbow. Probably not, it's been too long. Well, maybe I'll just make it an ornamental sock, and attach it to my sock bag, even if it is a bit bigger than those are usually done. (Any socknitters have a chunk of leftover Regia rainbow, not enough for a pair?)

Actually, I had already done just that. Somebody emailed me to tell me what the stuff is called - it's Clown ringel - which makes it much easier to find. Turns out that actually, theknitter.com, my favorite supplier, has some. I just didn't recognize the swatch picture, probably because it's knitted at adult sock widths, so the stripes look different. Anyway, should have no trouble getting more.
