Today is Jamie's DemiBirthday! Huzzah for the big six month old boy. I want to take a picture, but can't find the camera just at the moment.
We went and got him some more clothes over the weekend. Just went ahead and bought the 18 month size - it's a little loose, but not much, and they should last longer. Insert my standard rant on stupid boys' clothing, now he's big enough to be up to the front of the Carters' store with the big boys clothing, not the cute duckies and elephants and such of the wee babies stuff. So it's all drab ugly colors and sports and trucks. Bleah.
He's creeping around the room well, right on the edge of crawling. Maggie's speech therapist gave me some good hints about helping him progress on sitting up better - he's farther ahead on crawling and not so much on sitting. As usual, it's stuff that makes me say "duh", why didn't I think of this? She reassures me and points out she's been extensively trained in developmental stuff.
Maggie did well in speech today. We were trying to work on the S sound, which she can't say at all, and Kathy said SSsssssss - and Maggie had a babbling sentence that I *think* was something like "kitty that, kitty do that, doggie woof woof!" Right, ssssss does sound like a hiss.
