That was cool. A little earlier I went over to the changing table in the foyer with Jamie, and Brendan was playing around on the piano.
bkseiver gave us various piano exercise books for children, and he's been getting them out and on his own, a bit at a time, going through them. He asked me to sing that one with him. I said I didn't know the words, so he told me, and then I sang it as he played it, several times.
It was short and simple - "In our garden, flowers grow / they look lovely, in a row", and it's only using six notes, but he was getting it right, and getting the correct rhythm as written, so that was pretty cool. I applauded him and thanked him. I try to give him a lot of praise about working on the piano.
