celticdragonflyHey! ConDFW next year is going to have Chelsea Quinn Yarbro as a guest! Cool. I'll have books to bring for autographs. I must admit I've gotten behind on her writing in recent years, but I at least know I enjoy the earlier stuff.
I've actually seen her for autograph sessions twice in Los Angeles, so most of them are already done. It was amazing - I was hunting for replacement copies of her books once, to replace the ones I lost to water damage in college. I finally ended up finding a copy of the hardest to find one at Dangerous Visions in the San Fernando valley. I went there to get it, and there on the sidewalk was the sign about upcoming events, Chelsea Quinn Yarbro coming to sign her new book! Which was the first time I knew about it. More than a year later, I finally made it to Dangerous Visions again, and as I walked towards it I was telling this story to the person with me. And there was the sign about upcoming events out on the sidewalk - Chelsea Quinn Yarbro coming to sign her new book! And once again, I hadn't even known there was one coming out. I started laughing and said I clearly needed to get out to Dangerous Visions more often!
I suppose it might be fun to go reread them between now and then, and check on what she's written in recent years.
