The travel steamer is DEFINITELY the fiber artist's friend.
I usually use it to set the twist in handspun yarn I've made. Haven't done much of that lately, though.
Today I cast on for Jamie's Yule stocking. It's going to be GORGEOUS. (modest, aren't I?)
I'm using bamboo circular needles, the better to get Them to let me take it on the plane. And the cabling of the circular needles were hopelessly kinked up, and hot water was not helping.
The steamer did the trick, quickly and well. Yay.
