What's with the book challenge?

I've seen a few mentions on my flist about a "50 book challenge". Somebody want to give me some details on what this is about and where it's from? Is it just to list the first 50 books you read this year? Any book? Nonfiction books? Other details?

I think you're right. But my non-reading commitments are enough that I don't think I'll try.
