Coffee can?
Apr. 12th, 2005 06:02 pmDear flist - I am currently being rather tempted by Nantasket Basket. The slip-stitch woven-look version. I actually have stash yarn that would work nicely for it, so I may mail off the $ and get the pattern.
I emailed with some questions, and one of the things the pattern designer said about the felting blocking was "I used a large coffee can for the baskets".
I don't own a large coffee can. We don't drink coffee. I keep the little coffee singles things on hand for when my mother-in-law, who does drink coffee, visits. I occasionally bake with instant coffee in a recipe, which is in a small glass jar.
Anybody reasonably nearby have an empty coffee can I can have?
