How wonderful! I didn't know Orson Scott Card had a weekly column. Now, of course, I am considering this article in the light of his fiction, which usually concerns some extraordinarily gifted child who is misunderstood by his society...Ender, Alvin Smith...hm...
You know, I honestly hadn't noticed he wrote that. He refers to "the Cards", yes, but I hadn't focused on the author. Well, didn't matter, really. There's various things he writes that I rather disagree with, but I agree with this one, who wrote it doesn't matter.
