As some of you may know, we've had ongoing problems with leaks under the upstairs sinks.
selenite called a plumber to see if they could come fix it soon, and got "how about now?" I got a quick call from him and gave up the incipient library trip I'd been getting things together for.
My notes from the experience:
The plumber is here, going in and out of the house and looking at things. He thinks it may be a connector that was screwed on too tight at installation and later cracked. We'll probably need to turn off the a/c for him to fix it. I told him let me know.
Wow, now there's three guys going up and down the stairs.
Maggie is scared of the plumber. Now that several went upstairs, she's in her high chair hiding her face in her hands. I tried to reassure her as to why they're here and that I will protect her. I don't think she has much faith in my ability to protect her.
The plumbers are gone and the sinks are fixed. Yes, it was related to the drain from the air conditioning. The pipes from it were installed wrong in the first place - yeah, isn't THAT a big surprise - they were apparently going down too far so the water didn't have anywhere to go. They cut them shorter and closed things back up and it should be okay now, they say.
