I just refilled the birdfeeder. In addition to putting seed in the feeder, I spread a layer of birdseed along the brick outside windowsills of 2 of the 3 living room windows - the ones that our cat Karina sits on the inside of to watch The Bird Channel. Every now and then a bird lands on the windowsill - because of the heat-stopping special western screens on those windows, they can't see the cat, but she can sure see them. Sometimes she gets so excited she falls off.

So hopefully now they'll land there a BUNCH. Fan service, that's what this is...
