For some reason, this puts me in mind of the tricoteuses, who used to sit and knit in the front row of the crowd watching the aristocrats being presented to Madame Guillotine during the French Revolution. Eeewww, some people will knit through ANYTHING. Ever see the old Leslie Howard "Scarlet Pimpernel"? They're in there.
We could do that. Although my current biggest temptation for a weekend excursion from you guys - and others, hopefully - is that sometime this fall I want to get Readerware and a barcode scanner and a houseful of people to do the Great Book Cataloguing Party. Help getting all the books to the computer to be scanned and then reordered afterwards - and they need that pretty badly. And we play fun music, have gaming and video breaks, order pizza, I'll bake stuff for it, that sort of thing. I need to get past the next month or so of craziness, then I want to start talking fall schedule with people!
