The original intent was for fanfic, but jazz007 widened it out to opinions/rants/whatever. selenite picked it up under those terms, and I really wanted to give him one.

However, I can't write fanfic. I've written one once. And that was for a special situation that really did not require me to come up with a plot. I do not think I could do it 10 more times.

But you can have sonnets. I used to do this in high school, take challenges to write a sonnet on varying subjects. They won't be high art, but they will technically be sonnets. (If you pick some fandom thing I haven't seen, I won't be able to do it.)

If somebody really wants, they can ask and I can *try* to do a story, but I may not be able to. If anybody wants to give me a songbird (filk equivalent of a plot bunny - like when someone said "Paperback Writer should really be filked into Admiral's Captain for Cordelia in Bujold"), I can try that.

But default is sonnets.

Ok, a sonnet about being too far removed from the people you care about. Been musing a bit on the subject lately.
