I'm listening to Karl chat with his mom on the phone, and discuss with her the HOA and the deed restrictions on what was the CurrentFavoriteHouse. Listening to him go on about the problems of it and his feelings on the matter - HOAs as basically independent shadow governments that are exempted from the bill of rights - yeah, that house is rapidly going down as a possibility. He's told me that he's willing to consider putting up with an HOA, especially if it's the best way to get Brendan into a good school district for him. But I'm realizing just how much I'm going to end up listening to him rant about it if we live there...

Okay, so I go back to 2ndFavoriteHouse, and try to get the diaper service to clear up if it's all of Crowley school district they don't deliver to, or if it's just Crowley proper.
