Creative meme
Oct. 5th, 2006 12:19 pmHaving signed up for this on
cflute and
kitanzi's journals, it behooves me to do it as well.
And on the no promises about response time? OH yeah. I point out that I still have only written two of those sonnets I'm supposed to do someday before I die. Then again, I can create physical art here and then, in spare moments, without needing long periods of quiet, as writing would prefer. So we'll see. I suspect that getting stuff to the post office will be even harder than getting it made. (I have
bksevier and
rlseiver's anniversary present at long last - now if I can just get it MAILED...)
The first five people to respond to this post, will get some form of wearable art/art/food, by me, about them that they like. I make no guarantees about quality or type, but I will assure that I will give it good effort and that the wearable art/art/food will be individual to you, so if you get a mixed CD or some sort of painting doodle, jar or baked good, yours is the only one like it.Now, I'd like to make a couple observations on this. The first is that the meme-as-it-has-been-passed-on promises that the people signed up will get something creative "that they like". I can't guarantee what any of you will like. I can say I think you might like it, but that's the best I can do.
The only catch, of course; as with most memes, if you sign up, it is desireable that you put this in your own journal as well.
Also, I make no promises about response time. I'll try to do them in a timely fashion, but I can't guarantee inspiration will strike immediately ;)

Hmm... if I can *ever* dig up the doggone USB cable for my camera, I could take a picture and upload it, then you could at least preview it and see if it would suit... yeah. Let me work on that...

Dunno if I'd sign up to do socks for just ANYBODY - but you're special, and I owe you musically much!
Hm. Thinking on IDEAS... hm. Hm.

Date: 2006-10-13 06:02 am (UTC)I would so love to trade creative products with you.
Would you be willing to work a trade thusly: I'll send you this year's Christmas Card (original artwork) in trade for anything you happen to feel inspired to create--?
If not, no worries. If yes: Kewl.

Any types of things or colors you particularly *don't* like?

Date: 2006-10-29 06:00 am (UTC)But I don't have anything I particularly don't like - I'm quite fond of all colors at different times.
Thanks for taking this up!
