Stupid Firefox
Dec. 12th, 2006 01:51 pmI am having internet problems today.
First I couldn't get to webpages - and the weird thing was it was gradually growing worse. Online chat with the cable modem people, various tests, finally proves that aha, I can GET these pages - through IE. Not Firefox. Bloody. Rebooting and all that had been tried.
So I go off to try upgrading Firefox. I now have Firefox 2.0.
I HATE IT.
I can't figure things out. Firefox used to be beautifully intuitive. Now I open stuff in tabs, but clicking on tabs won't let me into them! And there's no red X to close tabs. I can figure out some workarounds - using CTRL-TAB to cycle through tabs, and right clicking on a tab and getting an option to close it - but these are clunky annoying difficult workarounds.
I don't know what to do now. I am frustrated and wondering what I am going to have to end up doing.
Posting from IE, yuck.
