celticdragonflyOkay, somebody posted something recently that I read with a link to a new book just coming out from Baen Books. It's Freehold by Michael Z. Williamson. I thought it was one of the poly LJ communities I'm on, but I can't find the original post again. Anyway, Baen's a great drug//// bookdealer, he puts up sample chapters - "the first hit is free!" I've read all 14, and Karl's most of the way through them.
So it's supposed to be out as of January. We hit four bookstores tonight. Agh. No go at any of them. I suspect I'll be ordering it online tonight.
An interesting book. Sounds like what I thought the libertarians OUGHT to be like. Poly themes, sorta, pagan stuff, military stuff. Anyway, it looks interesting enough I'm going to buy the book and try the rest.
I ought to also order that software development book that Karl keeps looking for and never finding while I'm at it. (Although "while I'm at it" is a very DANGEROUS phrase to use while on Barnes & Noble's website!)
