French Revolution Barbie

Discussion tonight between Karl and me as we medicate the kids. Jamie's meds were done, much against his will. Karl was pouring out more, and reassuring Jamie

K: "Don't worry, Jamie, this is Maggie's"
M: "Oh no, this is MY medicine!"

Karl to me: "She'd fight to be first in line for the guillotine."

Me: "Oh, yes. Especially if it was pink."


Karl then said that cross-referencing that with THIS, ------>
was making him think of Barbie's Guillotine. I said oh yeah, that'd totally sell - there's lots of girls out there popping off their dolls' heads anyway, I sure was.

Just think of it - Barbie's French Revolution set. Barbie done up as Marie Antoinette. The dresses, the wigs, the accessories. And a pink guillotine.

Karl: "You just want the doll for Madame DuFarge, knitting."

Oh yeah, I do.

My Vicky did have a guillotine and did behead her dolls. She would also torture them to get them to "talk;" I never di dfind out what state secrets they possessed.
