Christmas happiness

We have just had a Christmas FEAST here,
selenite,
fordprfct,
mostuff, and I. Well, we're waiting a bit before we tackle dessert, so I suppose we still are. Oh yum yum yum.
fordprfct can cook for me anytime. He's been teaching me about making a turkey. The roaster really helps.
Yesterday's Christmas festivities were lovely.
fordprfct's mother Linda came over, too, and we had a great time. Alanna fell asleep blissfully and bonelessly across her lap. And later, Jamie climbed up on her lap and he fell asleep. Clearly next time the kids won't sleep, we'll wish she was here.
selenite mostly got books for presents, and was very happy with that. The kids loved their stocking stuff. Alanna got 3 baby toys and a baby plastic book to put pictures of loved ones in, in her first stocking, that I knit for her this year. I did stockings for
selenite and
fordprfct, too. Cookies and chocolates and desk toys for
selenite, chocolates and hot spicy stuff in
fordprfct's.
selenite's stocking I did up for him years ago, his isn't knit, and I knit one with bears on it for
fordprfct as a present. He also got a digeridoo, and a computer desk.
I got books, and the new Babylon 5 DVD! And the previously mentioned iPod and CDs. And cool yarn spun by a knitting/spinning blogger I read and that my mother
bkseiver knows. And new handknit socks from Mom, that are cute and fit marvelously. And a dragonfly bookmark. Pretty! And oh goodness, I know I'm forgetting something.
All three kids got knitted hats from Nana, and the older two got new coats. Alanna got clothes, including BabyLegs legwarmers that I found out about over on Parenthacks. Linda brought her the *softest* baby blanket, and a bear that you velcro to the crib and it makes Mama-heartbeat sounds. Ooooh. It makes *me* want to curl up and go to sleep. And
mostuff brought her a teething ring and a soft cuddly Poohbear.
Happy happy contented me.
Oooh. And
mostuff brought us games, and *purple dragonfly* car mats for me. Ooooh. There is more purple in my life, and more dragonflies. There was gaming and pie. Yay.

Since when were knitters that obedient?
