Today is Maggie's Demi-Birthday, she's 18 months old. Adorable, sweet, wonderful girl.

And I really expected to present her with a younger sibling by now. Nope. No signs of labor whatsoever. Not getting any closer. This is more pregnant than I've ever been.

Sigh.

Comfy in there, I guess...

Well, now I know where some of Iolanthe's missing 2 months went? *ducking for cover*

I believe I read that Chamomile Tea was used to bring on menstruation (in really high doses, apparently it can aid in early-term miscarriage?) -- perhaps it could bring on, well, labor?

Chamomile tea? I thought that was such a relaxing herb, I wouldn't have expected THAT to bring on labor. There are various herbs that do that sort of thing, pennyroyal being one of the gentler ones. Sadly, I seem to have a very high threshhold for herbal meds.

Hmph, if Thumper's comfy in there, that's the only one of us who is. And given the kicking, it doesn't seem that zir is comfy.

I had cravings, early when I was pregnant, for chamomile for some reason. I later read that it was used to bring on menstruation, and stopped. (I didn't know I was pregnant at the time, either.)

Luck to you and Thumper...
