Here's a picture from Thursday, with Alanna in a pretty outfit.



This dress was made by bkseiver for Maggie as a baby. It's adorable - embroidery, lace inserts, it's just gorgeous. It has a matching slip underneath, buttons at the shoulders, with ruffles to plump out the skirt hem.

Here's a picture of Maggie wearing it as a baby. I'm not sure where that cap and booties are right now.

It helps that their mother has had more practice with the digital cameras since then.

You certainly should come meet her. She's a delightful happy baby.

I think it's the not wearing a bonnet. It takes years of practice to look dignified in a bonnet.

She looks like a perfect little doll on the shelf at the toy store! She's beautiful! Congrats on another fine piece of period work done with traditional methods (*grin*).
